The Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP) at University College London (UCL) is a global change-maker for rethinking the role of the state and for changing how public value is imagined, practiced and evaluated to tackle societal challenges. With this grant, IIPP will build a research and policy agenda to strengthen its Mission-Oriented Innovation Network (MOIN); to inform and support public sector actors globally in implementing mission-oriented industrial and innovation policies.

The objective of this CORE project is to transform the content and pedagogy of introductory economics in the U.S. CORE is a global collaboration seeking to empower citizens to deploy the best of contemporary economics to address issues such as climate change, inequality, globalization, and the future of work. The free interactive CORE e-textbooks (with supplementary learning resources) provide the primary content for courses in the U.S.

The Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP) brings together an interdisciplinary group of academic staff and collaborators to rethink how public value is created, nurtured, and evaluated. With this grant, IIPP will build a research and policy agenda for shaping and cocreating markets with a new network of public institutions and academic partners in the U.S., focusing on public value, to address grand challenges.
