Beverly E. Mislang

Grants Officer, Grantmaking, Learning, and Operations

Beverly E. Mislang is a Grants Officer with the Grantmaking, Learning, and Operations team at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation.

Beverly has over 12 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Before joining the Hewlett Foundation, she worked at KQED with the Leadership Gifts team. Prior to that, she held development roles at Youth Speaks and Performing Arts Workshop. Beverly is an AmeriCorps VISTA alum and spent her term at Streetside Stories in San Francisco’s Mission District.

Beverly sits on the board of Transit Books, a nonprofit publisher of international and American literature. From 2016 to 2018, she served on the board of directors at the Association of Fundraising Professionals Golden Gate Chapter where she chaired the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access Committee. Beverly holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from the University of California, Los Angeles.
