Kathleen Badejo

Program Associate, Effective Philanthropy Group

Kathleen Badejo is a Program Associate in the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation’s Effective Philanthropy Group. She supports the team which seeks to strengthen the capacity of the foundation’s programs, initiatives, and grantees — and philanthropy, in general — to achieve their goals and benefit the common good.

Prior to joining Hewlett, Kathleen was a grantmaking specialist at the Quad Cities Community Foundation where she was responsible for supporting donor-advised funds, competitive scholarships, and affiliate grantmaking. Previously, she engaged in work around youth development, program management, and community engagement at nonprofits in Chicago.

In addition to receiving an undergraduate degree from Point Loma Nazarene University, Kathleen holds a master’s degree in community and economic development from Western Illinois University. In her free time, Kathleen enjoys hosting dinner parties at her home and exploring what the Bay Area has to offer.
